New Anti-Slavery blog

The American_Anti-Slavery_Group (AASG), one of my favorite non-profits, has a new blog.
They're one of the few organizations that have brought light to the genocide in the Darfur province of Sudan.
I hope to add their link to my sidebar when I get enough HTML knowledge.

Update: Rony_Abovitz posts on a lack of Arab-American protests against Sudan.

+ some more Sudan blogs I might add to my sidebar:

Sudan:_The_Passion_of_the_Present , and

coalition_for_darfur

On February 23, the story of a man dedicated to the abolition of slavery hits theaters under a fitting title, Amazing Grace.

An 18th century Parliamentarian, William Wilburforce, reconciles his faith and political calling in a fight to end slavery.

Wilburforce made great strides in his fight and, after years of opposition, led the English Parliament to ban slavery. Yet, even today, an estimated 27 million people are still in slavery!
