Been busy . . .

1) teaching myself Tibetan and Chinese, and now Nepali

2) helping out at my Buddhist monastery's brand new location in northeast Minneapolis

3) continuing to mentor an ethnic Nepali refugee family from Bhutan

4) trying to finish work on my Bachelor's in Asian Languages and Literatures

. . .so I won't be posting for a while.

Happy Independence (from the British Empire) Day, folks.

for me: probably Minneapolis Farmers Market, lunch with relatives, and yeah, fireworks.

Oh, and Canada and Australia? You're both welcome on your later, more "peaceful" transitions to home rule (wouldn't have wanted to repeat those somewhat messy mistakes we made in the American colonies, now, would we!)
